Join us on the first Tuesday of each month at 3:30 pm for crafts. On October 7 design your own tote bag.

SuperSnacks for SuperTeens
Join Chef Liz Barbour of The Creative Feast as she demonstrates how to prepare delicious snacks combining highly nutritious ingredients to create super healthy recipes anyone can make. SuperFood never tasted so good.
Enjoy a cooking demonstration and sampling of two delicious recipes!
Please join us for this cooking demonstration and tasting on Tuesday October 28th at 4pm. For ages 12 and up.
Toto the Tornado Kitten is visiting the Saugus Public Library!
On Thursday, October 16 at 4:00 pm come meet Toto, the tiny kitten now a grown cat, who was rescued from a tree during a massive tornado. Hear his amazing story as told by his rescuer Jonathan Hall, who has written two picture books about this brave cat. Ages 4 years and up.
Proceeds from the book are donated to the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
Halloween Fun at the Library
In preparation for Halloween come hear some kind of scary stories! Join us on Thursday October 30th at 6:30pm. For ages 4 and up.
On Friday, October 31st the library is hosting a Halloween Drop-In Craft. All day! All ages!

Saugus Garden Club Speaker Series – Beekeeping
Join us Wednesday, October 22 at 6:30 for this free program with Len & Julie Hart from the Essex County Bee Assoc., co-sponsored by the New Friends of the Saugus Public Library.
Documentary Film Gasland II
On Wednesday, October 29 at 6:30 we will present the film Gasland II , a documentary that declares the gas industry’s portrayal of natural gas as a clean and safe alternative to oil is a myth.
This event is sponsored by SAVE, Saugus Action Volunteers for the Environment.
