The focused attention stage is the second stage of Treisman's feature integration theory. According to the theory, attention causes the combination of features into perception of an object. .



Significance

. The importance of the focused attention stage involves the illusory conjunction experiment using stimuli. The features throughout the model involve lines, curves, and color. These features do not explain how we see the three-dimensional objects in our environment. It plays an important role in combine the features to create the perception of whole objects.
