Hula Hoops & Engineers

photo of CJ Wong with studentsLibrarian C.J. Wong shared her hula hooping skills with First Year Engineering Students.  She explained that she could never get the hula hoop to work as a child because she was using the wrong size hoop, but she learned to hoop as an adult when she discovered a bigger hoop.  She said,  “library tools are a lot like the bigger hoop, they help students to complete the tasks they need to accomplish.  Using the right size hoop, or the best library database, just makes sense.”photo of engineering students in Alden
