On October 15 interfaith leaders from around the country are gathering at Merrimack College to honor Rabbi Burton Visotzky, 2012 winner of the Ignać Goldziher Prize for Jewish-Muslim Relations. Among the interfaith heroes attending are:
- Rabbi Burton Visotzky of the Jewish Theological Seminary, Goldziher Winner – his works
- Mr. Jacob Bender, independent documentary filmmaker – Out of Cordoba - and Goldziher Finalist
- Cardinal Seán O’Malley, Archbishop of Boston
- Rev. Dr. Diane Kessler, Massachusetts Council of Churches, President Emerita
- Dr. Mohamed Lazzouni, Imam and interfaith leader in New England
- Dr. Jennifer Peace, Center for Interreligious and Communal Leadership Education
- Prof. Huda Abu Arquob, Co-Executive Director of Abraham’s Vision
