The McQuade Library will conduct a major web-based survey
of faculty, students, and staff at Merrimack to evaluate
user perceptions of library service quality. LibQUAL+ is
a web-based survey instrument that uses 22 core questions
to measure library users’ minimum, perceived, and desired
levels of service quality in three key dimensions:
- Access to Information
- Affect of Information
- Library as Place
The LibQUAL+ survey is part of a larger project to develop
and test ways of assessing academic library service quality
being conducted by the Association of Research Libraries
(ARL). More than 500 libraries worldwide have participated.
If you have any questions or comments about the survey please
contact Bridget Rawding, Interim Library Director or email McQuade_survey@noblenet.org. For more information about
the survey, please see the
LibQUAL+ website.
