<p>The McQuade Library will conduct a major web-based survey<br />
                    of  faculty, students, and staff at Merrimack to evaluate<br />
                     user perceptions of library service quality.<span id="more-292"></span> LibQUAL+ is<br />
                     a web-based survey instrument that uses 22 core questions<br />
                     to measure library users&#8217; minimum, perceived, and desired<br />
                     levels of service quality in three key dimensions:</p>
<ul>
<li> Access to Information</li>
<li>Affect of Information</li>
<li>Library as Place</li>
</ul>
<p>The LibQUAL+ survey is part of a larger project to develop<br />
                     and test ways of assessing academic library service quality<br />
                     being conducted by the Association of Research Libraries<br />
                    (ARL).  More than 500 libraries worldwide have participated.</p>
